Director of Operations - Design/Build Electrical - Houston, TX

Lead the Houston office of a Design/Build Electrical contractor, driving operational efficiency, financial success, a positive work environment, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You'll spearhead team leadership and development, align divisional goals with company strategy, and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Associate Development: Coach and mentor team members for growth.

• Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company guidelines.
• Strategic Planning: Set and achieve measurable goals.
• Team Building & Sales: Develop technician teams to boost sales and profits.
• Company Alignment: Collaborate across branches and departments.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure code-compliant work and equipment maintenance.
• Financial Management: Manage the annual budget.
• Sales Growth: Increase sales, manage margins, and build a strong sales team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related.
• 10 years in estimating and project management for commercial design/build electrical projects (large-scale, concept to completion).
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel expertise).
• Experience with Accubid and other construction management software.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated job stability.
