TANKER DELIVERY DRIVER

Description

1. Conduct daily vehicle inspections before departing to deliver products
2. Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements
3. Load and/or assist in loading products onto trucks according to specifications
4. Deliver orders to customer in a safe, timely, accurate, and appropriate manner
5. Maintain ongoing communication with Delivery Manager
6. Review deliveries to ensure products meet customer needs
7. Unload deliveries at designated location
8. Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
9. Follow all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
10. Follow all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading product
11. Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications

Certification:

• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
• TWIC card preferred

Job/Experience Requirements:

• Operate material handling equipment, including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment as required
• Successfully pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Pass medical requirements for Class A CDL Driver
• Read, write, and understand the English language
• Present a professional image to our customers through personal appearance and overall branch cleanliness
• Knowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations (preferred)

• High school graduate or equivalent
