Position Overview:

As our Business Development Representative, you'll be instrumental in steering our sales and marketing endeavors, spearheading cold call outreach initiatives while also harnessing the potential of inbound sales leads. From delving deep into our service portfolio to orchestrating impactful sales strategies, you'll be pivotal in propelling us to new horizons. This role promises a dynamic environment where your proactive approach and dedication will shape our trajectory towards unparalleled success.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect for new business opportunities to support lead generation and lead conversion efforts
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our service offerings to effectively assist prospects and clients
  • Handle inbound client inquiries via phone and email, employing a proactive sales approach
  • Handle inbound inquiries from initial email or phone call to quoting
  • Craft sales scripts, cadences, and email content to enhance prospect engagement and lead conversion
  • Maintain and optimize the inside sales funnel in our Sales CRM, meeting established KPIs
  • Conduct regular audits of sales data in our CRMs to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and distribute reports from sales CRMs, and other data modules, on a regular basis
  • Assist in creating compelling presentations for managers and stakeholders
  • Coordinate lead generation efforts related to industry events and data collection
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales initiatives forward
  • Development of inside sales materials, including pitch emails, follow up emails, sales enablement materials
  • Proficiency in specific technology stacks to advance our sales efforts and become a team resource for the technology stacks

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales and business development, logistics industry preferred
  • Four-year degree from an accredited university
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Datamyne, Outreach and other sales and marketing platforms
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a team-oriented setting
  • Tech-savvy with a knack for learning new software and databases quickly
  • Strong internet research and clerical skills

Details:

  • Hourly position inclusive of medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits
  • Compensation range: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour
  • Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
