POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Food Service Business Consultant to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting with bids, purchasing, marketing, safety, distribution operations, and culinary expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry, strong analytical skills and the ability to work with various departments to optimize business strategies.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in preparing and submitting bids for food service contracts.
- Manage purchasing strategies to ensure ample on-hand inventory, cost efficiency and quality control.
- Support marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Oversee distribution operations to improve logistics and efficiency.
- Act as a Culinary Specialist, providing insight into menu development and food trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive business growth.
- Participate in seminars, workshops and reading publications to stay current with trends
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in food service operations, procurement, marketing, or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop strategic solutions
- Culinary experience is a plus.
