About the Role:We’re seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist who thrives on connecting with people, uncovering business needs, and creating real growth opportunities. This is a W2 position with a competitive base salary and generous commission/bonus structure designed to reward those who hustle and produce results.

Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and community partners
- Attend local networking events, business functions, and chamber activities to generate new leads
- Qualify and nurture inbound and outbound leads through calls, emails, and face-to-face conversations
- Schedule and lead discovery calls to assess client needs
- Present and pitch Klout 9 services with clarity and confidence
- Collaborate with the account team to create tailored proposals and marketing plans
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and client communications
- Achieve (and exceed!) monthly and quarterly client acquisition goals
- Represent Klout 9’s values and culture in all interactions
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (marketing/agency experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
- Confident in professional networking and cold outreach
- Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, or advertising services preferred
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and LinkedIn
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
