Job Responsibilities
- Performs routine and complex drafting assignments, not limited to:
- Maps and Site Plans
- Geophysical Data Presentation
- Shoring/Retaining Wall Design Drawings
- Profiles, Cross Sections, Schematics, and Process Diagrams
- Prepares GPS for locating and staking boring/test pit locations and performs post-processing of accumulated GPS data.
- Follow all safety rules, guidelines, and standards including active participation in pre-task planning and reporting of safety issues or concerns to management
- Travel: May be required to assist engineering on-site by answering questions or providing observations as needed, which may include overnight travel.
- Maintains library of past drawings
- Maintains library of reference drawings
- Performs other duties as requested, including but not limited to, assisting with field data collection; locating and staking boring/test pit locations; perform sampling and testing on construction materials; and observing and documenting field activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of Auto CAD and Microsoft Office products required
- Experience with Microstation and Open Roads Designer (ORD) required
- Knowledge for surveying-Township & Range, GPS Coordinate System, and Northern Eastern Coordinates System, preferred
