As a Senior Environmental Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing environmental services and project management, networking and enhancing UES environmental client base and potential growth opportunities while overseeing environmental professionals and projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Travel to various job sites in a company provided vehicle
- Mentor and grow Environmental team members’ environmental testing and knowledge base
- Develop and manage projects with existing and new clients
- Daily management of all phases of ongoing environmental projects
- Provide on-site project management to complete field testing
- Environmental business development, networking and marketing
- Create, prepare and update project proposals and technical reports
- Schedule project testing and other necessary field work
- Perform tests and sampling of environmental materials including, but not limited to Wetlands Delineation, Phase I and Phase II site assessments, Brownfields and VCC assessments, Threatened and Endangered Species Surveys, underground storage tank (UST) location and removal, soil and groundwater testing, erosion and sediment control inspection, lead, radon and mold
- Complete accurate and detailed field-testing reports and/or diagrams
- Maintain daily communication and provide supervision to technicians, contractors and other project managers
- Review, update and approve invoices weekly for on-going projects
- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects
- Maintain quality standards on all projects
- Other duties as assigned
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions such as wet and/or humid environments, extreme cold and/or heat, dusty and noisy work environments
- Field work on outside construction sites involving long-term standing and potentially repetitive motions
- This role is combined with 50% field work, 40% office work and 10% travel
- Ability to use your senses to see (including close, distant and peripheral vision, depth vision and ability to focus), smell, hear and touch (use your hands to reach, climb or balance, crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel and sit)
- Use of respirator and/or other PPE
- Ability to climb a ladder higher than 10 feet as needed
- Ability to access and work in crawlspaces and attics as needed
- Travel is expected, including potential overnights. Some weekend and overtime work and/or overnight work and travel may be required.
- May be required to drive hundreds of miles per day
- Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs.
- 5 years of experience in geology, environmental engineering and/or related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to use technology/computer
- Ability to accurately complete field-testing paperwork and detailed figures
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, detailed reports, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Strong leadership skills and an eye for detail
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and integrity
- Brownfields and VCC assessments
- Knowledge in: OSHA 10/30-hour, Asbestos, Lead Paint, Phase I ESA
- Local working with strong client relationships
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Wetlands Consulting experience including Threatened and Endangered Species Surveys
- 4-year degree in engineering, geology or applied science with an emphasis on environmental from an accredited university
- Professional Engineer or Geologist License (PE or PG) and/or EI/GIT certification in field of expertise
