We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced hydrogeologist/water resources engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydrogeology and water resources engineering and will be able to contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex environmental problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field explorations and construction projects.
- Collect and document hydrogeologic data; such as soil, water, and geologic samples.
- Write field reports and participate in data analysis and report production and compilation.
- Research literature and historical information.
- Complete routine technical analyses with supervision.
- Deliver work products for projects involving basin analyses; aquifer characterization; well design, construction oversight, and testing; aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) and aquifer recharge (AR) feasibility studies and program support; and well rehabilitation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in geology, water resource engineering, natural resources planning, hydrogeology, or a closely related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in groundwater supply and/or water resource management projects.
