Production Operations Manager Position Overview :

The Production Operations Manager will provide operational oversight, financial management, and vendor oversight within our in-house creative and production agency. This role is essential for optimizing creative workflows, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and standardizing processes and content within the Content Studio.

Stakeholders :

In a mix of transactional and influence, the role reports to the Director of Content Studio as part of the Content Studio Leadership Team. The role works with the Brand Partnership Lead and Creative Lead as peers. This role also oversees daily operations of Accenture's US Marketing Operations Center (MOC), Tech Mahindra's Design Center (minor changes and proofing), and Tag (printing) vendors. Key stakeholders include Brand Content Owners, AORs, and Content Capabilities teams.

The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following.

Production Operational Oversight : Lead day-to-day operations ensuring projects are delivered on time and within time budgets. Manage onshore and offshore vendors providing dev, content, and print services ensuring adherence to SLAs while always seeking to improve the speed and quality of deliverables. Identify opportunities to leverage technology, methods, and models to support agile ways of working.

The role will be a visible champion striving to grow our internal studio's value by developing initiatives to standardize assets and reduce rework and handoffs while striving to improve quality and speed through continuous improvement.

Financial Management : Develop and manage the Content Studio's annual budget in collaboration with the Studio's leadership team, Finance and Procurement. Forecast, track actuals, and address variances. Prepare and present monthly financial reports and collaborate with Finance partners for seamless and accurate reporting.

Resource Planning and Continuous Improvement : Develop a metric-driven approach to optimize resource allocation and accelerate time-to-market. Implement demand planning, time tracking, data modeling, and metrics to enhance team efficiency. Create and manage dashboards for real-time insights into resource utilization and project status. Use robust project management methodologies to track progress, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

New Technology Identification : Identify and evaluate new technologies that can enhance Content Studio's operational capabilities, including workflow, DAM, and automation tools. Lead the integration and adoption of new tools and technologies within the production team. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.

Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all GSK business units and brands. Act as the key contact for production inquiries, collaborating with internal stakeholders and Agencies of Record (AORs) to create derivative content. Develop and train stakeholders and vendors on adapting to new ways of working.

Leadership Responsibilities

Influence without direct supervisory responsibilities. Build trusting, collaborative, and productive relationships across the organization and with agency partners to establish process efficiencies and consistencies and provide daily guidance to stakeholders across the organization.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications :

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :

7 years of experience leading a large, multidisciplinary creative team at an agency or in-house creative department. Experience working in a matrix organization, across businesses and at all levels of the organization. Experience managing offshore vendor teams.

Knowledge and experience of the creative process from briefing through deployment.

Proven experience in operational oversight, financial management, and resource planning.

Experience with content management systems (DAM), automation, taxonomy and project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Jira, etc.).

Strong strategic, analytical, prioritization, problem-solving and planning skills.

Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing production processes

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Arts or similar field
