Duties .
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
- Monitor clients’ health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with appointment
- Assist with daily routine, personal hygiene, laundry, cleaning, shopping, personal activites.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
- Provide direct support in daily activities, promoting independence while ensuring safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and direct support practices.
- Ability to cook healthy meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards caregiving.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by the organization.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.
