Our client is looking for a Director Technical Product Delivery to join their team!

Position Summary:

This position leads and directs the technical product delivery staff and leads the project management function, which drives desired business objectives by providing leadership and coordination across business area management, functional teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution of programs and projects throughout the project lifecycle.

• Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees the overall portfolio of projects and programs for our client, and optimizes resource allocations to support on-time delivery in line with organization priorities
• Plans, directs, and manages implementation of large and highly complex programs and projects defined by business stakeholders, by coordinating activities across all necessary functional areas
• Develops, manages, and maintains comprehensive, accurate project plans and schedules, as well as performs estimation, forecasting, planning, requirements gathering, analysis, issue/risk/change management, escalation management, meeting facilitation, and status reporting.
• Ensures that individual projects and/or programs are completed on time and on budget, by rigorously managing scope, timelines, and resources, to achieve desired business outcomes
• Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks
• Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization
• Develops, owns, and executes product roadmap
• Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
• Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders
• Defines and executes go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful
• Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment
• Regularly communicates progress in standardized formats that promote full transparency into project or program health, progress, risks and issues
• Establishes strong relationships with customers, business partners, and other stakeholders by demonstrating area expertise and enterprise business acumen
• Leads, directs and has full management accountability for subordinate staff; acts as a change-oriented and engaging mentor/coach who builds confidence in and empowers his/her teams; one who communicates goals, expectations, and purpose clearly as well as the actions required to achieve them.

• Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or a combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
• A minimum 10 years of project management, business analysis, product owner, process engineering or systems design experience
• 5 years of management experience
• Applicable certifications preferred

• Expert proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
• A background in the service industry (Insurance, Banking, Financial, other) is a plus
