Senior Data Engineer - SCADA is a MUST!
My client is hiring an Sr Data Engineer / Analyst for the Houston, TX area. This person will manage the company-wide databases related to various customer and regulatory reporting requirements. Develops and implements standardized optimized processes and improvements in company-wide data reporting which may include algorithm development. Analyzes various data and provides trend and variation reporting to internal customers.

Direct Hire – $140K – $155K
Monday – Friday in office is required
Must Have the Following Requirements :
- Advanced data management skills
- Expert with Excel and other database management software
- Proven ability to optimize data reporting and develop new processes
- E&P or Midstream pipeline experience with production experience or experience with downstream data and SCADA
- Ability to pull data from SCADA systems and create data visualizations
- Knowledge of how to extract data from Maximo
- Ability to develop algorithms
- Ability to use data analytical software such as Power BI -graphic etc. so strong knowledge here is important.
- Proven collaboration skills with multiple internal groups
- Documents all related job processes to ensure others can follow the workflow
- Build data flow automations
- Advanced in SQL – mapping capabilities and ability to set up data bases
- Advanced Python – cleaning up databases and transfer to a SQL database
- Experience analyzing production data – creating meaningful outcomes through analytics
Education :
Salary : $140,000 - $155,000
