Hybrid Schedule : 3 Days in Office / 2 Days Remote
Position Type : Three Month Contract-to-Hire
Conversion Salary : up to $125K

ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a JD Edwards Backend Integration Engineer for a Contract-to-Hire position in Arlington, TX. This role will follow a rotating 3 / 2 hybrid schedule. This role will be backend-heavy and will focus on data integration through ETL processes, data cleansing, and overall monitoring of backend health of the JD Edwards system. Our client is currently in the process of optimizing existing legacy applications (acquired through acquisitions) and developing new applications using the newly acquired data. This role's focus will be to ensure all backend systems are integrated, efficient and functioning as expected with the JD Edwards Platform.
The JD Edwards Backend Engineer work closely with other engineers to ensure conversion strategies are progressing as expected and will also focus on creating stored procedures (SQL) to integrate new data from non-corporate data stores. The JD Edwards Backend Integration Engineer will perform unit testing and end-to-end testing and validation in a development environment. An extensive amount of ETL, data validation, and testing is expected in this role to ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
This role requires a candidate who has worked with backend JD Edwards systems, and they should be strong with SQL, stored procedures (deconstructing existing and creating new stored procedures), ETL, and Integration Testing.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2 years in the following skill sets...
- Backend Engineering in a JD Edwards environment
- Familiar with JD Edwards database logic and previous experience integrating new applications and data stores into a JD Edwards environment
- Strong SQL and ability to create ETL processes (SSIS or similar)
- Hands-on experience creating Stored Procedures using SQL
Ability to deconstruct existing stored procedures for data mapping existing data into a new platform
Salary : $125,000
