Job Summary :
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial reports, and supporting overall financial operations. This role involves analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, and assisting in audits to maintain accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in tax preparation, compliance, and reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
- Coordinate and support audits, both internal and external.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.
- Support cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Mentor and guide junior accountants and finance team members.
- Utilize accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) to maintain accurate records.
