PURPOSE OF THE JOB:The Receiving position is responsible for performing receiving tasks such as unloading product from truckload carriers, LTL carriers and small package carriers, data entry of product into inventory, stocking and relocating product.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for moving/sorting product from the receiving dock to the appropriate warehouse pick/storage location by powered equipment according to current receiving guidelines. (Minimum of 50% of time).
- Responsible for general receiving, unloading product from various transportation carriers, checking in product and matching purchase orders to pack lists.
- Responsible for marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Responsible for organizing warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Compensation:$16.00 - $20.00 per hour; Based on shift and responsibilities.
Must be willing to become certified on various power equipment.
