Job Description: Industrial Mechanic/Electric Maintenance

Location: Coshocton, Ohio
Pay Range: $21.00/hour - $28.00/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Industrial Mechanic or Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, electrical systems, and equipment used in the manufacturing of building materials, roofing membranes, and waterproof products. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, preventative maintenance practices, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime in production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and electrical systems within the facility.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on production equipment.
• Replace defective parts, motors, bearings, and other components to keep machinery in optimal working condition.
• Perform electrical repairs, including working with PLCs, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, and other electrical components.
• Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Work closely with the production team to address equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and part inventories.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or an associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on both mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and wiring, as well as understanding of electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures and regulations.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts or overtime as required.
