Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated RN Unit Manager to oversee clinical operations in our Rehabilitation Center. This leadership role ensures the highest standard of patient care, supervises nursing staff, and maintains compliance with all healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to maintain efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate patient care plans, admissions, and discharges with healthcare teams.
- Ensure adherence to state, federal, and facility policies.
- Conduct staff training, evaluations, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor infection control procedures, medication administration, and treatment protocols.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in PA.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role (rehab or long-term care preferred).
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation, post-acute, and long-term care nursing.
- Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, PointClickCare, etc.).
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $59.91 - $61.61 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
