Job Description:
- The Manager of Global Outbound Production (TEMP), plays a critical role in executing all global outbound marketing campaigns that meet our business objectives and create innovative customer experiences.
- This role is responsible for end-to-end management of email, push, and other outbound channels, from strategy and planning to execution and optimization.
- This includes creating and maintaining email templates, building and deploying campaigns, managing customer segmentation and targeting, and providing performance reporting and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand business requirements and design effective outbound campaigns and customer journeys across email, push notifications, and other channels
- Build and execute outbound campaigns, including email, push, SMS, and other channels, ensuring seamless delivery and a consistent customer experience
- Provide self-service guidance as well as full-service Braze support to marketing teams, depending on the complexity of the customer journey or outbound initiative
- Manage the content creation and personalization process, working closely with copywriters, designers, and other marketing team members
- Develop and maintain customer segments and targeting strategies to optimize campaign performance and personalization
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement
- Stay up-to-date on email marketing best practices and new channel capabilities, and advocate for the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies
- Streamline the outbound campaign production process through automation, process improvements, and the implementation of new tools and technologies
- Coordinate with the Global Production team, Associate Director, and Director to ensure timely delivery, appropriate resource allocation, and alignment with overall marketing priorities
- Support Global Outbound Production Specialists in developing their understanding of tools and process as well as with issue resolution
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in email and outbound campaign production, specifically with Salesforce/ExactTarget or similar marketing platforms
- Basic knowledge of HTML and email design best practices
- Business fluency in English, both written and spoken (all locations)
- Business fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken (if based in JP)
- Exceptional organizational skills to efficiently deliver tasks within specified timelines during agile sprints
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated interest and experience in online marketing, customer relationship management, and data-driven decision-making
- Passion for books, audiobooks, and media in general
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a technical environment and proficiency with email marketing and data analytics tools
- Knowledge of German, French, Italian, Spanish, and/or Quebec French (based on location)
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, A/B testing, and campaign optimization
