Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Responsibilities:

• Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, following established procedures and safety protocols.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients, building trust and confidence.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training (e.g., medical assistant, paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in certain states).
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in data entry and computer skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
