Job Description:
Join our team as a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II and make a meaningful impact on patient care. As the face of our company, you'll provide exceptional service while drawing blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Prepare specimens for lab testing according to established procedures.
- Provide clear and compassionate patient care, explain procedures and build trust.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and accuracy standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a patient service center environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in keyboard/data entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
