Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Pay range: $18 - 21/hr
Location: Plymouth, MA
Work Type: Onsite - 1st shift, Monday - Friday 6 am - 2.30 pm, one Saturday per month

Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented healthcare professional looking for a rewarding career? We're seeking a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a PSR I, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring accurate laboratory results.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Explain procedures clearly and effectively, ensuring patient comfort and understanding.
Phlebotomy: Draw blood samples accurately and efficiently, following established protocols. Have experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
Specimen Processing: Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing, adhering to quality standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete records and documentation.
Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient patient flow.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification is required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is a plus.
Skills: Excellent phlebotomy skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and flexibility to work varying shifts.
