Job Overview
GTT, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, this individual will be responsible for developing and leading programs that improve equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Key Responsibilities
- We are looking for someone who can develop, implement, and track programs/systems/processes/capital projects and equipment upgrades that improve equipment reliability/OEE.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to continuously review and improve preventive maintenance task lists and processes. They should also be able to perform failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) or similar failure mode analysis to develop appropriate equipment maintenance plans/strategies.
- Responsibilities include studying breakdowns and failures, performing Root Cause Failure Analysis based on standardized trigger points, then implementing corrective actions and improvement plans resulting from the RCFA's.
- This role involves championing world-class Maintenance Reliability Programs that include lubrication, vibration analysis, oil analysis, alignment, balancing, etc.
- The successful candidate will manage small to large projects as needed to meet and improve equipment safety, regulatory compliance, reliability, performance, and maintenance costs.
- They will review inspection reports and analyze data to determine effectiveness, quality of inspection, and appropriate inspection intervals.
- This position requires conducting field analysis of operations, investigations, evaluation, and reviews, and providing feedback to appropriate functional groups including executive staff.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7-10 years of supervisory or project experience in a manufacturing process environment.
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience with fans, material handling equipment, electrical distribution, and other related systems.
- Able to comply with corporate policies and industry regulations such as MSHA.
- Able to measure performance against company-standardized KPIs and provide assessments, reports, graphs, and other analyses of maintenance performance.
- Knowledge of mechanical design, machine design, and manufacturing systems.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and digital systems and concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, process flow, P&IDs, and one-line diagrams.
- Experience with precision maintenance techniques and CMMS systems.
- Understanding of OEE, RCA, FMEA, RCM, and lean/Six Sigma principles.
