We have an exciting opportunity for a Licensing Supervisor position here at Guarantee Trust Life, reporting to the Sales Support & Licensing Manager!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the licensing team as well as tasks required to meet and maintain license compliance State Licensing
- Carrier contracting
- Reporting
- Maintain existing relationships with relevant 3rd party partners pertinent to DOI compliance
- Manage inter-team communication (training, sales, etc.) in partnership with licensing team members
- Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
- Collaborate on the development of licensing strategies
- Proactively identify deficiencies and efficiencies and solutions to improve processes
Qualifications
Education and Skills:
- Ability to maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Capacity to work independently and make decisions within a cross-departmental team
- 2 years of leading a department, licensing department preferred
- Extensive knowledge of state requirements to procure and maintain compliant licenses
- Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, which is key to supporting interactions with our internal departments, agents, and carrier partners
- High School Diploma/GED required, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
