POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the Human Resources Director in the administration of Human Resources and Customer Services. Assist and coordinate the New Hire/Promoted Employees training plan.

- Reports to the Human Resources (HR) Director for the fulfillment of her functions and responsibilities.
- Assists department managers, officers, and staff in their respective functions associated with the areas for which he or she has direct responsibility.
- May have extensive contact with customers, the public and the community, and is expected to conduct relationships that enhance the overall recruiting effort.
- May participate in community organizations and projects as needed.
- Assist the HR Director in developing, maintaining, and administering personnel programs contributing to effective operations.
- Assist with employee incentive programs and company uniform initiatives.
- Coordinate and develop training programs to facilitate staffing and enhance employee potential.
- Maintain training schedules and related files.
- Assist with the IWTP Grant Program.
- Distribute weekly schedules on Wednesdays.
- Establish procedures for periodic employee performance evaluations.
- Complete pre-hire process and new hire files.
- Develop and monitor employee relations activities recognizing anniversaries, achievements, and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain and document personnel records.
- Investigate prospective applicant references.
- Serve as a back-up for employee data administration via Paylocity software.
- Monitor and advise supervisors on performance evaluation deadlines ensuring timely completion within anniversary dates.
- Research trends and changes in personnel administration, and stay current on EEO compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Prepare and monitor annual Human Resource cost center budgets.
- Carry out assigned duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations pertinent to this position.
