Job Summary
The Loan Documentation Specialist I will be responsible for producing loan documentation for our commercial loan portfolio, including new loan closings, modifications, and renewals. This role will contribute to the overall success of the bank by providing top quality service to all clients while following the organization’s policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
- Produce loan documents from loan software system.
- Verify corporate and trust documents for proper signing authorities.
- Review insurance certificates for conformance with bank requirements for new loans, modifications and/or renewals.
- Adhere to regulations for commercial loan compliance, Bank loan policy and procedures and lending regulations.
- Assist in the development of commercial loan department documentation to accomplish tasks and/or duties inherent in the position.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent service to internal and external clients.
- Actively interact with other departments and facilities to advance the overall interests of entity.
- Handle special projects.
- Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements applicable to this position.
- Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two years' experience in loan documentation or similar process.
- Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate financial information effectively to a wide range of clients and audiences.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Thorough understanding of banking services, customers, procedures, and policies.
- Under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (“SAFE Act”), and as a Mortgage Loan Originator (“MLO”), this position requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. The registration requires additional background screening and must be completed within 30 days of employment. QCRH will maintain adequate procedures to ensure to ensure all employees acting in the capacity of an MLO maintain their registration.
