PURPOSE:
The purpose of this job description is to outline the key responsibilities of the Fulfillment Associate role. The tasks listed below are not exhaustive, and the Guardian's administration may assign additional tasks as needed.
SUMMARY:
The 1st Shift Weekend Fulfillment Associate is responsible for processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction. This function operates in a warehouse or distribution center environment and requires attention to detail, organization, and adherence to security protocols. Responsibilities may include lifting, sorting, and operating machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing:
· Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company standards and customer requirements.
Inventory Management:
· Help with inventory control by tracking stock levels, performing regular cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies.
Quality Assurance:
· Inspect products for damage or defects to ensure that only high-quality items are shipped.
Shipping and receiving:
· Operate shipping equipment, label packages correctly, and ensure timely shipment of orders.
· Receive and inspect inbound shipments, updating inventory records as needed.
Warehouse maintenance:
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including shelving and storage areas.
Team collaboration:
· Work closely with team members and other departments to support efficient compliance operations.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in warehousing, fulfillment, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
· Great attention to detail and precision.
· Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and in a team.
