Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to candidates. Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent through job boards, social media, employee referrals, community events, and networking. Builds a robust talent pipeline to support current and future staffing needs.
- Partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and create recruitment strategies tailored to each role. Builds and maintains strong relationships with external staffing agencies, community organizations, colleges, and universities to enhance talent outreach.
- Determine total compensation strategies with HR regarding proper market rates, bonuses and job levels to attract qualified candidates.
- Serves as a brand ambassador for the credit union, promoting our culture, values, and career opportunities.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience
2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources (financial services experience is a plus).
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours.
Interpersonal Skills
Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and interviewing methods. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Other Skills
Strong MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Demonstrated competencies with recruiting technologies and products.
ADA Requirements
Physical RequirementsPerform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
