Job Summary
We are seeking highly skilled Flight Nurses to provide direct patient care in critical situations, working collaboratively with our air and ground teams to ensure safe and effective transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients to determine the best course of action for treatment and support.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured patients, adhering to physicians' orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, performing regular equipment checks and adhering to safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, facilities, and partners.
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
- Current RN licensure in states served by the assigned area.
- EMT Certification (where required), AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications, and trauma certification within six months of hire.
- Physical demands include lifting up to 150 pounds and wearing a N95 mask.
