What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Critical Care Provider position at Guardian Flight?
We're seeking a skilled Emergency Critical Care Provider to join our team at Guardian Flight. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with GMR protocols and/or medical direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians' orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment and comply with safety standards and briefings.
- Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
This position requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication skills. As an Emergency Critical Care Provider, you will work closely with our team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years' experience in an emergency or critical care setting is required.
- Current RN licensure in the states served by the assigned area is required.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification is required prior to flight status.
Benefits:
- The starting salary range is $99,000-$102,000 annually.
- A sign-on bonus of $10,000 payable in two installments following the end of training.
- A 5 days on/10 days off rotation schedule.
- Crew housing is provided while on shift.
