Job Description
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with GMR protocols and/or medical direction.
- Assist with coverage of open shifts as needed with the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians' orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, perform regular equipment and base checks, and comply with safety standards and briefings.
- Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Ensure accurate company and regulatory documentation and records are maintained.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an emergency or critical care setting required.
- Current RN licensure in the states served by the assigned area required.
- EMT Certification in state(s) where required.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification required prior to flight status.
