Assist elderly or disabled adults with daily living activities at the person's home, in a daytime non-residential facility, or in a senior care community. Duties include:
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment
- Conversations, companionship, and mental stimulation
- Medication monitoring and reminders
- Preparation of meals, laundry, shopping, and household chores
- Accompanying to doctor appointments, outings, or shopping
- Driving and assisting with transportation
- Stabilizing the client when walking, as needed
- Assisting with brushing hair, make-up, filing, and polishing nails
- Picking up prescriptions, grocery, and general shopping
- Assisting with the activities of daily living (ADLs) when the patient is unable to complete an activity due to cognitive impairment, functional disability, physical health problems, or safety
- Personal Care – grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and incontinence care
- Assisting with personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and shaving
- Physical transfer and mobility
- Administration of normally self-administered drugs
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Keeping records of personal health care activities
- Observing appearance and behavioral changes and reporting to the registered nurse
- Special care for persons with Alzheimer's disease or other related disorders
- Medication management and reminders

We serve multiple counties in Florida including, Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Marion, Putnam, Sumter, Suwannee, and Union.
A reliable vehicle is required for this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
