- Assist with technology planning and implementation of new projects
- Analyze IT capital and costs to proactively manage budget for three-year cycle replacement program.
- Responsible for maintaining and upgrading hardware
- Set up all new computer stations and load all necessary software
- Troubleshoot all technology related problems (computers, telephone, printers), while limiting external vendor contracting
- Understand business problems and proactively offer technical solutions, using traditional and emerging concepts and technologies
- Order and maintain inventory of hardware and software (i.e., computers, monitors, printers, cables, telephones, etc.)
- Working with Guardian Pharmacy I.T., assist with analyzing new technologies and competitive analyses
- Works with business analysts and end users from cross functional teams to capture reporting requirements, and translating those to technical designs, architecture patterns for enterprise business intelligence implementation
- Performs extensive data analysis including data profiling and data quality analysis
- Ability and desire to work in a cross functional team environment, understand team goals and generate appropriate, innovative analytical insights to drive winning results and overall process improvement
- Serve as a subject matter expert on all department operating systems, in order to provide assistance and analysis to department
- Assist in the on-boarding of new facilities
- Maintains peer relationships across IT areas (infrastructure, operations, etc.) to support effective implementations
- Manage individual workload and work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, or projects in a fast pace changing environment.
- Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree (Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or similar) preferred
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements), preferred (or willing to obtain)
- 3 years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
- Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
- Requires up to 40% travel, by air and ground
- Ability to work flexible hours
