Guest House Inn - Bellingham WA
As the Front Desk Agent/Concierge, you will be responsible for the operations of the hotel, verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges, as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services.
Essential Functions
- Greets and welcomes every guest upon arrival.
- Communicates effectively with guests and employees.
- Perform accurate check-ins and check-outs of guest daily.
- Answer the telephone in a timely and professional manner.
- Make reservations over the phone and in person and ensure all aspects of the room reservation procedure are followed, including bookings, confirmation, and cancellation policies.
- Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring all floats balance correctly at the end of the shift.
- Post any transactions needed.
- Also, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
Required Education and Experience
- Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment to resolve issues.
- Flexible schedule. Must be able to work weekends – Friday and Saturday afternoon- and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
This is a part-time position, and hours of work and days vary based on business needs. This includes weekends, holidays, evenings and/or overnight shifts.
