Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Dining Room Manager, this role will assist in supervising dining room staff, maintaining high standards of guest service, and ensuring efficient and safe completion of tasks daily. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and problem-solving to direct workers for efficient task completion.
- Assisting in training, onboarding, and scheduling staff, including break and lunch schedules.
- Communicating with General Managers, Assistant General Managers, Dining Room Managers, Chefs, and Cooks for safe and professional food service.
Skill and Knowledge Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least six months of restaurant experience required; National Park experience strongly preferred.
- Food Safety certification, strong sanitation skills, and alcohol service TIPS or MAST certification.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and food service POS systems.
