Position Summary
Guggenheim Investments is seeking an Administrative and Investment Support Professional to support senior investment professionals and their teams in our New York office. This position is ideal for someone who seeks to develop their knowledge of business administration and operations; and includes high-level administrative work as well as team-level investment operations functions. A core function of the position is the ability to develop and monitor team-level workflows for the Heads of Real Assets & Originations, Macroeconomic Research & Market Strategy, and Portfolio Construction & Investment Risk Groups. The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and communicate to all levels of the organization is critical.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions

Provide executive support to NY based senior investment professionals, specifically the Head of Real Assets & Originations, Head of Macroeconomic Research & Market Strategy, and Head of Portfolio Construction & Investment Risk
- Manage calendars and scheduling
- Coordinate and process travel
- Process expense reports

Assist senior executives with workflow, communication, and project management
- Facilitate regular communication and updates within in assigned teams to align on priorities and address challenges.
- Monitor and report tasks and projects, submit weekly team updates to the appropriate senior executive
- Schedule internal team meetings to include ensuring appropriate participation
- Prepare and disseminate meeting agendas in advance; distribute presentations
- Prepare action minutes and submit to the principal and/or participants as directed

Support senior executives with process improvement.
- Develop and apply internal operating procedures to optimize drafting, tracking, and review of team-level products inclusive of presentations, business forms, and other specified materials.
- Routinely evaluate internal operational processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
- Coordinate Compliance and Legal review of materials, as appropriate and directed
- Collaborate with the Chief of Staff to the Chief Investment Officer on conference attendance, personnel onboarding/transitions, market data subscriptions and other Investment Management department-level tasks as initiated by the Chief of Staff
- At the direction of senior executives, work independently on projects, from conception to completion
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-4 years related administrative or operations experience; C-Level executive exposure a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and problem solving skills
- Strict attention to detail while able to prioritize issues appropriately
- Ability to demonstrate discretion in handling confidential data and dealing with high-level executives
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures in a push toward constant improvement.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong computer skills include, but are not limited to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); Monday.com
Salary Range
Annual base salary between
$81,000.00-$90,000.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
