What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Business Analyst position at Guggenheim Partners?
The Junior Business Analyst will be part of a team in the Office of the Co-Presidents. The role will work directly for the Senior Business Analyst and ensure that workflow assigned directly from the Co-Presidents is completed accurately, effectively and efficiently. The Junior Business Analyst role presents an opportunity to be involved in key workflow and business decisions for Guggenheim Investments. The Junior Business Analyst is part of a team based in the Darien, CT office.
Essential Job Functions
- Work with the Senior Business Analyst on workflow / projects assigned by Co-Presidents.
- Assist with special projects and firm initiatives as needed by Senior Business Analyst.
- Attend meetings with the Senior Business Analyst, taking exceptional notes while tracking follow up items and key deliverables.
- Work with the Senior Business Analyst to continuously enhance workflows, create efficiencies, and provide necessary reporting for the Office of the Co-Presidents.
- Maintain and update key organizational folders, documents, organizational charts, reporting calendars, financial reports, and databases for the Senior Business Analyst and Office of the Co-Presidents.
- Provide or obtain summary level reporting for items including AUM, fund flows, fees, performance, and fund characteristics.
- Assist in development of processes created in Workday that will streamline efficiencies across HR, Finance, and management.
- Provide testing, feedback and guidance throughout development and onboarding of Workday, in both HR and Finance.
- Provide testing and feedback throughout development and onboarding of internal databases.

- Problem solving skills with ability to participate on projects assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree required, preferably with concentrations in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in Darien, CT office 4 to 5 days a week with occasional commute to New York City office.
Salary Details
Annual base salary between $90,000 and $100,000.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated based salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
