The Events Vice President will be responsible for supporting the Events team across the Securities business. In this role, you will work closely with a team of Corporate Event professionals to deliver exceptional experiences to our employees and clients. The ideal candidate will excel in managing complex event logistics, ensuring flawless execution and delivering a superior level of client service. The position demands interaction with colleagues on the global events team and the larger marketing group, bankers, and product partners, as well as senior management. You may be required to work outside of regular business hours and travel.

Essential Job Functions
- Plan and host high-profile, client-facing events and conferences, ensuring an exceptional experience that reflects the company’s brand and values
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal clients, understanding their needs to enhance event personalization and impact
- Provide expert advice on event venues, source venues and develop realistic budgets for all events
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues and service providers to optimize value and ensure budget adherence
- Embody the firm’s culture and values in planning and execution of all events
- Ensure all event aspects are representative of the Guggenheim brand standards
- Ensure that all events are compliant with firm-wide standards and policies
- Provide documentation throughout the planning process as well as post-event data
- Mentor and help manage junior members of the team in day-to-day event planning tasks
- Work in the Guggenheim New York office at least 4 days per week
- Willing and able to travel domestically or internationally as needed

- Proven track record in planning and executing high-profile client events and internal corporate initiatives
- Client-first mindset with a commitment to delivering superior service
- Expertise in managing complex offsite event logistics
- Strong understanding of client relationship management and a high commitment to exceptional client service
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with C-level executives, clients, and vendors
- Proficiency in event management tools and platforms, especially CVENT
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree; professional certifications in event planning (e.g., CMP, CSEP) are a plus
- 7-10 years of experience in event management, preferably within the financial services or professional services industry
- Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office at least 4 days per week.
- Annual base salary of $130,000 - 150,000
- The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
