Be a mentor! Mentoring is a fun, fulfilling, challenging and rewarding career. We are seeking people that are honest, dependable and caring, to be mentors for adults with learning challenges; you can help them enjoy their lives so that they can live on their own and participate in community activities. We welcome applicants with or without experience in the field. You will be provided with training and supports to help you succeed. Creative scheduling is available to work around your needs. Part time and full-time positions are available. Current openings are within well as Norwich, East Lyme and Colchester. Hours are typically in the evening time and weekends.
Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years with no major violations in the last 10 years, motor vehicle insurance with a minimum liability limit of $100,000 Combined Single Limit or $100,000/$300,000 spilt limits, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
