What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Crisis Clinician (LMHP) position at Guided Paths?
Guided Paths is a community mental health agency serving the Tidewater areas. We are looking for Licensed Mental Health Professionals (including Supervisees or Residents) for the Mobile Crisis Program in the Central Virginia area.
Must be either fully licensed (LPC, LCSW) or a supervisee/resident pursuing a licensure as an LPC or LCSW. Clinical supervision can be available for LPC-Residents and LCSW-Supervisees. Master's level candidates in pursuit of LMHP residency/supervision status are encouraged to apply.
The LMHP will provide short-term crisis intervention for up to 8 hours per client with an emphasis on assessing and linking the individual with the appropriate level of care for ongoing mental health treatment needs. Mobile Crisis services will include an assessment of treatment needs and de-escalation of the current crisis to divert the individual's need for a higher level of care. Services will be provided on a PRN/on-call basis with a flexible schedule based on the LMHP's availability. There is also an option to work part-time or full-time in the Guided Paths Community Crisis Stabilization Program. Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and Zero Suicide framework is preferred.
