Job Description
Guidehealth, a value-based care enabler, is expanding our accounting department for rapid growth in 2025. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Remote Accountant will work with the accounting team on a variety of tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing
Collaborating with team on monthly closing process according to adherence to GAAP.
Preparing and posting required journal entries.
Completing month-end and year-end closing processes including tracking accruals, analyzing account activity, reconciling account balances, and validating financial reports.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks.
Ensuring all activity adheres to internal controls.
Reconciling accounts, allocating expenses across various departments and functional areas
Reconciling balance sheet accounts.
Developing and implementing best practices and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations and reporting.
Working with accounting team to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Supporting internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and robustness of accounting processes and internal controls.
