Care Settings
Fellows will rotate through various care settings, including assisted living, skilled short-term rehabilitation, and long-term skilled nursing facilities.
This diversity of settings will provide fellows with a broad range of experiences, from working with individuals with mild cognitive impairment to those with advanced dementia.
Fellows will also have the opportunity to work with secure dementia/memory care units dedicated to residents with late-stage dementia.
This unique exposure will enable fellows to develop a nuanced understanding of the complexities of geriatric care.
