Job Purpose:
The Federal Marketing Specialist prepares responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications, creates marketing collateral, and keeps up to date with the latest federal regulations and marketing and sales developments and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field from accredited institution
- 3 years of industry experience with focus on Federal A/E/C marketing
- Bid/Proposal Foundation Certification (CF APMP), Bid/Proposal Practitioner Certification (CP APMP), or Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) credential desired
Skills:
- Proven experience preparing responses to detailed RFPs/RFQs and high-quality marketing materials
- Firm understanding of SF330 process required
- Proven experience creating winning SF330s for complex Federal solicitations
- Lead federal pursuit strategy
- Knowledge and understanding of the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS)
- Experience managing parallel assignments

Responsibilities:
- Leverage Federal experience to ensure excellence in company’s Federal marketing, including:
- SF330 Expert
- Track Federal solicitations in GovTribe / Sam.gov
- Go/NoGo Process Champion
- Own CPARS process
- Support and attend Federal marketing events and conferences/trade shows
- Ensure that marketing team is trained on SF330 best practices and maintain requisite documentation to align workflows
- Produce marketing materials/content to support business development efforts. Note: Efforts will not be exclusive to Federal pursuits. Must have working knowledge of non-Federal marketing and contribute accordingly at the direction of the Director of Marketing.
- Develop and maintain SF330 and Part II standard documents/templates for use across the company
- Ensure Federal contract data is documented in CRM, including contract numbers, construction cost / bid information, project descriptions, etc.
- Lead proposal strategy / kickoff meetings
- Prepare shortlist teams for successful interviews
- Provide Pink and Red Draft review of marketing proposals prepared by others on the team
- Undertake special projects, such as award submissions and additional administrative duties as assigned
Software:
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)
- Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Understand of client relation management software (Unanet CRM desired)
