Marketing Informatics (Mi) is a marketing agency specializing in restaurant marketing. We deliver best in class service and strategy to our national restaurant clients via paid media (with a primary focus on Direct Mail, Digital, Social, & Paid Search).


Mi is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team to further enhance our client experience. This entry-level role will be responsible for assisting in internal project management, with opportunities to grow into a more client-facing role in the future. This role reports to the President of Mi.

  • Pay Transparency: $45,000 - $50,000: Wage differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training, and experience
  • Hybrid-Remote Office: 2-3 Days in office in downtown Indianapolis (free parking) and the rest remote. We acknowledge that you do not need to be in an office or at a desk to be successful - and we offer reimbursements to ensure that your WFH set up is comfortable. We also have a great downtown Indianapolis office that offers a casual work environment with onsite coffeehouse, bike storage, workout facility locker room, and free parking. Current in office schedule is 2-3 days per week.


Position Requirements:

  • Friendly and engaging personality.
  • Enjoys executing detailed projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Curious and proactive in asking questions and solving problems.
  • Desire to work in a small office environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Computer literate and comfortable in a data-centric environment where accuracy is key.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate skills preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience (ad agency experience a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing digital marketing ad campaigns and reporting.
  • Experience with Project Management/CRM Software.
  • Basic knowledge of organic social media.
  • Digital marketing experience in paid media, particularly Google Ads (Search, Display) & Social (Meta) a plus.
  • Familiarity with print-based marketing, especially direct mail a plus.


Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with project-related tasks and details.
  • Track and prioritize project details to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor project progress and tasks to meet quality, deadline, and budget objectives.
  • Prepare data for marketing activities, including audience definition and data preparation.
  • Support bookkeeping and billing activities related to projects, clients, and vendors.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to communicate project status, updates, and needs
  • Stay up-to-date on marketing trends and restaurant industry news.
  • Support sales efforts with content creation and research.
  • Other responsibilities as requested.

  • Timely and accurate execution of projects for Mi's clients.
  • Consistently produce high-quality work.
  • Display initiative, leadership, and adaptability
  • Receive positive feedback from team members
  • Excellent detail tracking and the ability to learn and grow.
  • Act proactively, assume risks, and drive change.
  • Proactively communicate and participate in group calls and planning.
  • Use your talents and knowledge to become the go-to person in your area of expertise.
