DESCRIPTION:
Intern will support the activities of the Pandemic Recovery Team and the Manager of Special Projects. The primary internship project will be the development of the 2025 Annual Recovery Plan for SLFRF ARPA funds. This will involve outreach and collaboration with project leaders, collecting and analyzing project financial and performance data, creating data visualizations, and other activities as needed to create the report. Other projects may include but are not limited to supporting project monitoring activities, dashboard data entry and analysis, and project closeout procedure development.
The intern will have the opportunity to shadow county departments, attend board meetings, meet with county leadership, and work with their supervisor to identify other opportunities that align with their career goals and interests.
- Support development of the 2025 SLFRF Annual Recovery Plan to include collaboration with project partners, writing project progress narratives, pulling financial reports, creating data visualizations, and other activities as needed
- Assist with data collection and analysis, performance reporting, and project monitoring
- Assist with development of process and procedure documentation for project closeout
- Shadow County Departments
- Attend board meetings
- Other projects/duties as assigned or identified based on areas of interest

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be enrolled in a graduate program pursuing a master’s degree in public administration, Public Policy, or Public Affairs or similar program.
