Job Title:
A Repair Tech (Guitar) position is available at Guitar Center, a company that embodies the world of creativity and music.
We are looking for a skilled individual to provide maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments, as well as assist in maintaining specific store inventory.
The successful candidate will be able to build and increase business through great customer experience and quality work.
Key Characteristics:
- Customer Focus: Provide an excellent customer experience by understanding customer service principles and being approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping customers.
- Initiative: Identify opportunities & issues and follow through on work activities to capitalize or resolve them, and learn quickly to take positive action without being requested to do so.
- Selling: Work through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
- Training: Effectively train learners and communicate info and techniques so that they are retained.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to ensure a positive customer experience
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship
- Maintain store owned gear, as requested
- Complete warranty repair work
- Additional duties as assigned
