Summary
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Repair Technician to join our team at Guitar Center. As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while maintaining and repairing customer-owned instruments and store inventory.
Key Characteristics of Successful Repair Technicians:
- Customer Focus: Understands customer service principles and provides an excellent customer experience.
- Initiative: Identifies opportunities and issues, and takes positive action to resolve them.
- Selling: Works through the GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
- Training: Effectively trains learners and communicates information and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
- Complete warranty repair work.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Skilled understanding of repairing guitars.
Preferences:
- Foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products.
