What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at GULF COAST EDUCATORS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION?

This position will be located at our Mortgage and Insurance building.
The schedule for this position is M-F 8:00am- 5:00pm, occasional flexibility is required for events and projects.
- Assists in advertising and sales promotions. Coordinates advertising programs and collateral materials, including graphic design, copywriting, email and direct mail campaigns, and website pages.
- Coordinates daily branded posts to all credit union social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google My Business.
- Write and produce weekly content and video series to post on website and social media. Will create Money Talks blogs, explainer videos, commercials, and testimonials featuring that week’s written content.
- Assists the Marketing department with miscellaneous tasks, such as credit union contests, teacher awards, printing education foundation checks, closed signs, lobby posters/banners, etc.
- Assist with all credit union events, such as annual meeting, grand openings, Sandy Saver events (Easter Bunny and Santa), shred days, and more.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Social media knowledge
- Graphic design (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Video production knowledge a plus
- Writing copy – Spelling, grammar, and punctuation at professional business level
- Wordpress & HTML knowledge a plus.
