Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical team. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic evaluations through medical imaging procedures. Your expertise in performing X-rays and clinical assist will contribute to the effective diagnosis and treatment of patients. If you have a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques, along with exceptional attention to detail, we encourage you to apply. Duties
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays and Dexa scan.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
- Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Review images for clarity and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new imaging techniques
Qualifications
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician (RT or BMO)
- Proficiency in performing X-rays and other clinical procedures
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
