Who You Are And What You Do
We are currently recruiting for the position of Director of Accounting and Finance. The ideal candidate will oversee all company financial activities to ensure it stays in strong financial standing. Their main duties include building revenue reports, distributing calculated funds to various departments and implementing company financial policies.
This position provides continuous leadership and guidance in all matters relating to the financial operation of Gulf Coast Property Management. The ideal candidate will manage the accounting operations across various verticals—Homeowner Associations, Condo Associations, Long-term rentals, and Vacation rentals—each utilizing different accounting software. You will be responsible for aligning these verticals with our corporate accounting systems and reporting. This role will require strategic oversight of financial policies and procedures, financial planning, and management of a dedicated accounting team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership and financial management skills and be able to work collaboratively across departments.

Pay Range: $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year

Job Specific Duties
- Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring financial operations are efficient and compliant across all business verticals.
- Oversee financial integration from various verticals into the corporate accounting structure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes.
- Provide strategic financial insights and reporting to executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Manage financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Implement strategies for optimizing cash flow and profitability.
- Other duties as assigned
- MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing complex accounting systems and processes.
- Proven leadership experience in finance and accounting teams.
- Expertise in working with accounting software platforms (experience with property management and
- HOA/Condo accounting systems is a plus).
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Homeowner's Association and/or Condo Association accounting is highly preferred.
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
