What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapeutic Foster Care Program Coordinator position at Gulf Coast Social Services?
Our Baton Rouge regional office is seeking a Program Coordinator. This person will be responsible for the supervision of a therapeutic foster care caseload, and requires experience working with children and adults with behavioral disabilities, as well as service planning, scheduling and meeting program objectives.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a human service/mental health related field is required. A minimum of two years experience managing staff, and in the delivery of services to children and adults with disabilities is preferred. Must be organized, computer literate, highly professional, and able to handle multiple demands with deadlines. Applicants must be willing to submit to required background and clearance checks. Valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.
